Paid & Free Memberships for Individuals

​​Michigan for Vaccine Choice (MVC) is fully funded by its paid members and have supported our growth for more than 30 years. Paid members of MVC at every level enjoy additional benefits such as access to the members-only content, the monthly newsletter, and can submit a request for assistance. Free members receive the monthly newsletter and numerous opportunities to volunteer and make friends. All of our members are invited to our events.

 

Memberships automatically renew yearly on the anniversary of joining. You can cancel your renewal at any time. See the Manage Your Membership section below.

Professional Memberships

A primary benefit of Professional membership includes the option to list your family-friendly service on the Vaccine Choice Providers page of our website. Your listing will reach thousands of website visitors each year, and is ideal for medical and pediatric professionals, chiropractors, dentists, therapists, nutritionists, health food store owners, veterinarians, attorneys, educators, daycare providers and more. MVC does have the right to decline to list a business that is not appropriate for all ages and/or is not in favor of vaccine choice in Michigan.

First, cancel your current membership. Next, rejoin at the membership level of your choice either as an Individual or Professional. Your new renewal date will be one year from your new date of purchase.

Get Listed as a Vaccine Choice Provider

Start by looking for your business name on the Find a Vaccine Choice Provider page; if you do not see it and you are currently paying for membership as a Professional, Advocate, or Patron, then submit this form. Your listing will be removed at the end of your membership.

Update Your Credit Card or Cancel Your Membership

Whether you wish to update your credit card on file or cancel your renewal, you can manage your membership here. You can also view membership duration and history. â€‹

Paid Member and Account FAQs

How do I know if I currently have a paid membership?

There are a few ways to go about this. You could check your credit card or PayPal activity by searching for a payment of $25, $50, $100 or more to "MVC" or "MI Vax Choice." You can view the membership levels here.

If you are certain that you have signed up previously and paid for membership on this website previously, you can login to check membership status.

​

If you do not have an account to login to this website, it could be possible that you donated via our Breeze giving platform, which is located here. If that platform looks familiar to you, please check your credit card or PayPal activity, or submit a technical support request and a volunteer will look into the information for you.

I want to change my credit card before my renewal. Is that possible? If so, how?

Yes, you can update your payment information prior to your renewal. Please login and go to My Wallet

My membership was canceled, but I didn't cancel it myself. What happened? 

If the credit card on file was expired or no longer valid, your membership renewal will be automatically canceled. The system does send out email reminders leading up to your renewal and email notifications informing you of a failed payment. Those reminders and notifications may have gone to your junk or spam folder and are easy to miss. Moving forward, you may wish to add any official email you find in your junk or spam folder from MVC to your safe senders list.

I'm a Professional Member and I want my practice or office listed on the Providers page--or, I simply need to update my listing. How do I do that?

In both cases, you would submit the Authorization To List My Practice form.

 

Please note if your Professional membership lapsed, the listing will be taken down, and will be added again upon renewal if permission was previously provided to list your practice. 

 

Professional members are emailed automatically by our system informing them of this benefit/option, but it is possible that the email may have gone to your junk or spam folder. Please check these folders regularly as we cannot be held responsible for your email server's handling of our messages. 
 

I've moved or have a new number. How do I update my contact information?

Thank you for being proactive about updating us about your new contact information. You can access and update your contact information here

 

We ask you to submit this form also to help us keep all of our systems up to date. 
 

I donated with a personal check or via the Breeze giving platform. How do I get access to the content here?

If you have donated $25 or more via check, PayPal or via our giving platform, Breeze, we can get you access to the paid Member content here. We just need to connect your account.

 

Simply submit this form and we will help you access the paid member content.

 

Please allow up to 30 days for your request to be fulfilled.

The cost of my membership payment went up from the prior year. What happened?

We have not changed our membership pricing in several years. We have only added lower price points to assist with the tough economic conditions.

 

During the year of 2025, we did offer a 30% discount on new memberships for the first year only. This was in celebration of MVC turning 30 years old. Therefore, if you signed up at the Friend level in 2025 with the discount, you would have paid $17.50, but in 2026 you will pay $25 for your renewal. Likewise, if you signed up at the Supporter level in 2025 for the first time with the discount, you would have paid $35, but in 2026 you will pay $50. New Defenders would have paid $70 in 2025, and $100 in 2026, and so on for the other levels.

Please note that MVC does reserve the right to alter membership prices at any time, but will provide members with ample notice prior to renewal. 

Do you send an email notification about my renewal prior to my card or PayPal account being charged? 

The system does send out email reminders leading up to your renewal and email notifications informing you of a failed payment. Moving forward, you may wish to add any official email you find in your junk or spam folder from MVC to your safe senders list.

I no longer want to receive the monthly newsletter. How do I unsubscribe?

Within the newsletter, scroll down to the bottom and click the Unsubscribe link. Please follow the prompts from there. 

I am a paid member, but have not received the MVC newsletter yet? 

The newsletter is sent via email once per month, sometimes more frequently if there are important action alerts or upcoming events. If you are member, there may be a short delay to get your information added to our mailing list.

If you feel you should have heard from us by now, check that our email has not gone to your junk or spam folder. If it has, please add us to your safe senders list.

 

In the meantime, you can manually subscribe here.

I want to cancel my recurring payment. How do I do that?

Thank you for your support over the years. You will need to cancel your membership prior to your renewal date. You will receive email an email reminder prior to your renewal date (please check your junk and spam folder regularly), or you can check your membership status and renewal date by logging in and going to the Paid Membership page, see the link below on step 1.

Don't forget, MVC offers a free membership to individuals, which helps us stay connected with your and share important action alerts or events. 

I would like to change my membership level. What is the best way to do that? 

Thank you for your continued support. We recommend cancelling your membership, and then signing up at the level you wish to have.

3. Join MVC at your preferred membership level here.

Can I get a refund?

MVC does not typically offer refunds for paid memberships unless there was an obvious issue or error. Occasionally, a member will sign up twice not realizing they already have a paid membership, and we are very happy to refund those situations. If your situation requires consideration, contact us or request assitance

I want MVC to delete my account and remove my contact information from their database. How can I do this? 

We can purge your information from our systems upon request. Please allow up to 30 days for your request to be completed. If you were ever a paid member or donor, we may need to keep some identifying information by law, but we will remove all contact information that we have and archive your profile in our member records.
